Challenge
Releases were driven by an unmanageable proliferation of tags; no clear environment promotion path, and identity wasn't wired to the corporate directory.
Approach
Designed a branch/environment pipeline model, wired LDAP/AD identity, and introduced protected branches and approval gates — the same governance pattern that lets AI-assisted development land safely in an enterprise.
