I build AI systems that have to work in production.

I'm Yossi Gordin, founder and CTO of OvertimeLabs.ai. I've spent 20+ years building software, including as VP R&D and CTO — so I've been the person on the hook for whether a system actually ships and stays up, not just whether the demo looked good.

These days I work almost entirely on production AI: retrieval-grounded RAG systems, computer-vision and multimodal pipelines, agentic systems with real evaluation, and rolling out enterprise AI-assisted development (Claude Code on Bedrock/VPC) for teams that can't let their source code leave the building.

I take on a small number of retained and project engagements at a time — across architecture, builds and reviews. I'm based in Israel and work with clients across the EU, UK, US and Israel, in English and Hebrew.

The bias throughout is pragmatic engineering: the right tool for the job over the newest one, measured numbers over adjectives, and data-privacy patterns (VPC, on-prem, no-training) treated as first-class, not an afterthought.
